China adalah yang pertama bertindak balas terhadap dasar Trump, dengan Menteri Kewangan China mengumumkan pada hari Jumaat bahawa tarif import ke atas semua produk Amerika akan meningkat sebanyak 34% mulai 10 April.<\/p>\n<p>Di bawah langkah timbal balik itu, Trump telah pun menetapkan jumlah tarif import sebanyak 54% ke atas barangan China, yang dijangka berkuat kuasa pada 9 April. Langkah timbal balik ini menyasarkan banyak negara, membayangkan potensi konflik perdagangan yang lebih meluas.<\/p>\n<p>Perkembangan sedemikian menimbulkan risiko kepada pertumbuhan ekonomi global, memberi kesan negatif kepada indeks saham. Setakat 7:00 pagi WIB, Nasdaq sudah jatuh lebih 1,000 mata indeks kepada 16,460, menandakan titik terendah sejak 8 Januari 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Menariknya, emas, biasanya dianggap sebagai aset tempat selamat, juga turun hampir $68 kepada $2,970 setiap auns troy, terendah sejak 13 Mac.<\/p>\n<p>Penurunan harga emas ini mungkin disebabkan oleh pengambilan untung, kerana ramai peserta pasaran membubarkan kedudukan disebabkan kejatuhan ketara dalam aset lain seperti Nasdaq. Pengambilan untung digunakan untuk mengurangkan kerugian daripada urus niaga dalam instrumen lain.<\/p>\n<p>Sementara itu, EUR\/USD dan GBP\/USD mengalami penurunan mendadak tetapi berjaya melantun dengan pantas.
